St Michael's and All Angel's Church

Our relationship with St Michael’s and All Angel's Church is an important part of who we are as a Church of England school. We value our close and developing partnership with the church community, working together to nurture children’s faith, deepen their understanding of Christian worship and encourage them to live out our Christian vision.

The church is an integral part of our school life, supporting us with collective worship, special services, festivals and celebrations, including opportunities for children to visit and experience worship within the church building. We celebrate key moments in the Christian calendar together and value the opportunities this provides for children, families, staff and the wider community to come together in faith and fellowship.

Our links with church also provide meaningful opportunities for children to explore service, compassion, hope and love, helping them to understand that being part of a Christian community means caring for and serving others. Through this partnership, we seek to strengthen the connection between school, church and home, enabling our children to experience faith as something that is lived out together and encouraging everyone in our community to flourish.
